Elsewhere

Privacy and terms

Elsewhere keeps the entries you write on purpose. Here is what that means.

What we collect

Your Google account name, email and picture. The notebooks and entries you make: the words, the photos and voice recordings you attach, the time of each entry, and, when you allow it, your location and the place name we look up for it. Location is asked for by the browser each time you write; you can clear it from any entry.

Where it goes

Entries are stored in our cloud and shown only to you, unless you share one. Place names are looked up from OpenStreetMap's Nominatim service using rounded coordinates; that request carries no account information.

Sharing

"Copy link" makes a link anyone can open for thirty days. It shows that one entry: its photos, words, recording, hour and place. "Share as a card" makes a picture on your device; nothing is sent to us.

Deleting

Delete any entry from its page, archive any notebook, or delete your account from your profile. Deleted entries stop being shown at once; their files are removed from storage in a later sweep.

Terms

Elsewhere is free and offered as is, without warranty. Post only what you have the right to post. We may remove content or close accounts that break these rules. Questions: hello@kikitora.com.
